frank
A St. Louis native, I have been interested in painting, photography, sculpture my whole life. As the son of a Master Portrait Photographer, I learned early the importance of lighting & framing to make important elements stand out. My favorite childhood haunt was the St. Louis Art Museum. I paint using multiple styles and techniques. I take many photos during my travels to stimulate ideas for my paintings and drawings. Bachelor’s Degree of Science. Showings: Recently accepted to Johnson gallery, Madrid, NM; 1 landscape photo in the Art St. Louis 29th exhibit (2013); 5 landscape paintings at Des Peres hospital, Art StL 6-month exhibit 2013- Southwest theme; 3 paintings in the International Art Exhibition for the last 8 years, includes showing in the sister city of Lyon, France; 42 pieces in solo show at the U City Library, 2012- “Homage to Dad”. Several charitable causes seeking to publish in book format; 2 pieces in City Hall of Wildwood- 6-month exhibit; Published in St. Louis Community College art books- 3 years; Exhibited in 3 shows at SLCC; Prototype Car sculptures- Detroit, General Motors- 3 years; Influences: Sculpture with Simon Ybarra, Winona School of Photography
